IPTV SUPPLIER TELLS YOU NEED A VPN
In Fact He Has A Link On His Web Page To Sell You One
Invariably He Gets Commission From Each One Sold Via This Link
But Do You Really Need A Full Blown VPN? There Are Alternatives!
The Only People Who Need A Full Blown VPN Are The Following
Those Connected Directly To The Internet Via A Fibre Optic Connection Or Through A Large Corporate Internet Supplier (Like Movistar) or any other Fibre Optic connection service (big or small), and are using Dodgy IPTV services like Firesticks etc loaded with an app to watch heavily discounted subscription channels like $KY Sports etc or the latest movies via VOD or Torrent Sites. These internet companies do log your internet activity, and will report any suspicious activity, they are obliged to by law.
The only other people who may want a full VPN are those who want access to geographically blocked services.
For people who just want to
watch BBCiPlayer, who need to hide
their IP address (which is normally blocked
from being viewed in Spain) not because you are doing anything illegal, your
paying your UK TV license in the UK, yes?. You just want to watch BBCiPlayer in
Spain, then there is an alternative. You can use a service
like SmartDNSProxy, which changes your geographical part of your IP address
location to one in the UK, it's not a full blown VPN so unfortunately the
television companies (especially ITV Hub) are quicker to realize (that
you, amongst many others, who are connected behind the same UK server) and are
connected via a IP hiding service. Once they realize, then they will block that
server from being able to connect with their service. Fortunately, the
BBCiPlayer service is a bit slower to react than the others, so less likely to get blocked by
them so quickly. Of course once the SmartDNSProxy service realise their IP address
has been uncovered by the BBC, they will in fairly quick fashion change to a
different UK IP address, to restore service for you.
HERE IS THE GREAT NEWS, SmartDNSProxy, ITS NOW A FREE SERVICE FROM NETSEEKERS
You only need to request it from us (Send me a request by email quoting the name of your road, and the house number (don't phone or text or whatever) to firstname.lastname@example.org), and I will switch on the service just for you, this our new free of charge service for your particular connection. You will however need to switch off any VPN service you may have already running, as the two will not run concurrently.
To watch BBCiPlayer, you still need to register with the BBCiPlayer service, you can do that either here in Spain, or back in the UK. Despite what the video says, you will need to give a valid email address, and enter a valid Postcode for an address (can be anybodies) in the UK that has a TV License. Click on this "how to" link.
